Dear Darcy and Kolette of Lutheran Church of Hope's Care Ministry:
Here is another website about my issues with the music on a so-called Christian ministry station Life 107.1 in the Greater Des Moines area. I have been writing on this website since 2016, as well, and it is reaching many, many people in the Des Moines and West Des Moines area. I have serious issues about the so-called Christian music played on that station. I have turned off the station about a month ago (beginning of January 2018) because I feel that it has contributed to my health situation; however, three years ago, it was totally wonderful when I first moved here. However, it no longer the same at all in its music selections and I write about those issues on my website www.life107.com, which you might be interested in reading. I know its an unusual name, but its a typo on the station's own website that many listeners of the radio station makes when surfing the internet. So, the site again is www.life107.com and documents all my various issues with that station and its music selections and comprehension of Christianity and what Christianity is all about and even its advertisements, on air commentary and advertisements, which sometimes annoy me to no end. But I also do ministerial work on the website, as well, to reach people in the Greater Des Moines area for Jesus.
I don't know if Hope recognizes this or not but I pay out of my own pocket all of the time for all of my ministerial and advocacy, in the name of Jesus', internet domain names, for hosting through a blogging service called type pad.com and paying for annual renewals on the domain names -- which can add-up to something like 1,800 - 2,000 dollars a year, which is not that much to most people in the West Des Moines area; however, is a lot to me when I am wrongly subsisting on social security -- really, really wrong when obviously I have the background as a PhD candidate and university teacher to be making far, far more income than that so my financial situation as an advocate, teacher, and minister of Jesus's love, care and compassion to the world is not at all fair because I need funds and assistance to help me support the internet costs and am paying out of my own pocket. I have had to let a few more expensive domains that were getting a lot of online readers drop because I could not afford them in the past year. I am doing just the same work as those of you at Lutheran Church of Hope are doing; however, on a shoestring budget and out of my own pocket, which is certainly okay because I love writing about and ministering about all of the ways that I understand Jesus and being the voice of Lord Jesus to the world and reaching out to hurting and suffering people. However, occasionally and more and more often, it is becoming a financial burden and that is not right at all and so when I come to Luthreran Church of Hope asking for financial assistance like I have on at least three occasions during the past year and asking for assistance for my ministries www.amazinggraceministries.org and www.compassionfortheafflicted.com and many, many other sites that get viewers from around America, I really think that Hope needs to take my financial situation seriously and help me out with this situation because I am doing the exact same work that Lutheran Church of Hope is doing, however, I do not get a salary for doing it like you a Hope are getting and I am paying out of my own social security money for all of this which is meant for living expenses and have no savings or retirement account right now, SO MOST CERTAINLY, WHEN I COME TO HOPE REPEATEDLY ASKING FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR MY MINISTRIES, IT IS VERY MUCH SEXISM AND VERY, VERY WRONG WHEN YOU DENY MY REQUESTS -- THAT IS NOT WHAT A CHURCH FAMILY SHOULD BE DOING TO ITS OWN MEMBERS, ESPECIALLY ITS MEMBERS WHO ARE OUT IN THE FIELD DOING THE SAME WORK THAT YOU ARE DOING YET WITHOUT A SALARY AND WITHOUT FINANCIAL PROTECTION. I am writing this so that you all at Hope will see the larger picture and take the time to seriously consider funding my ministries, which would not cost Hope very much at all, especially in the context's of Hopes financial resources, which all blessings from Lord Jesus and Our Almighty Heavenly Father and belong to Them -- the Lord and our Father -- NOT Hope itself and NOT the staff at Hope -- you need to understand that very clearly when ministers and advocates for the Lord Jesus such as myself come to Hope asking for funding assistance. This situation -- my financial situation -- is not what Lord Jesus wants for me at all and Hope is very much responsible for turning a blind eye to it and will be held accountable by the Lord and Our Almighty Heavenly Father for your indifference and sexism when I have come to that church repeatedly asking for funding assistance -- which is a very modest need that Hope could certainly be helping me with.
